Refund Policy

Refund & Returns Policy

This policy is issued in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, including the Sale of Goods Act (Ch. 82:30), the Consumer Protection and Safety Act, and the Adverse Trade Practices Order, 2000. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or limits any right or remedy available to a consumer under applicable law, and where any part of this policy conflicts with such law, the law prevails.

1. Your Legal Rights

Under the Sale of Goods Act, goods sold must:

  • Correspond with their description;

  • Be of merchantable quality (fit for purpose, free from defects not disclosed prior to sale, and reasonably durable); and

  • Be reasonably fit for any particular purpose made known to us at the time of purchase.

A blanket "No Refund / No Exchange" policy is not permitted under the Adverse Trade Practices Order, 2000, and will not be applied where goods are defective, misdescribed, or otherwise fail to conform to the contract of sale.

2. When You Are Entitled to a Refund, Replacement, or Repair

You may be entitled to redress where:

  • The product is defective or damaged (other than damage caused by misuse, normal wear, or improper installation after purchase);

  • The product does not match its description or the specifications confirmed at the time of order;

  • The product cannot reasonably serve the purpose for which it was sold; or

  • The wrong product, or an incorrect quantity, was delivered.

Where a claim is upheld, redress is generally offered in the following order, consistent with Consumer Affairs Division guidance: refund, replacement, repair, or credit note — the appropriate remedy depending on the nature of the fault and your preference where reasonable.

3. Change of Mind

Returns or exchanges are not automatically granted simply because a customer changes their mind after purchase. Where we agree, as a matter of goodwill, to accept a change-of-mind return, the item must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled;

  • In its original condition and packaging;

  • Complete with all accessories, manuals, and components; and

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of defective, misdescribed, or unsuitable goods.

4. Automotive Compatibility

Automotive accessories and products are sold on the basis of the fitment information provided by the customer at the time of order. Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable for their vehicle before purchase and before installation. Where a product proves incompatible due to inaccurate fitment information supplied by the customer, this will be considered under Section 3 (Change of Mind) rather than Section 2, unless the product itself was defective or misdescribed.

5. Online and Delivery Orders

Orders placed online or for delivery are subject to the same rights described above. Please inspect goods at the point of delivery, or as soon as reasonably possible afterward, and report any defect, damage, or discrepancy to us promptly.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, replacement, or repair:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible after discovering the issue, with your proof of purchase and a description of the fault.

  2. Where applicable, make the item available for inspection.

  3. We will assess the claim and respond within a reasonable time.

7. Timeframe

Claims should be made within a reasonable time of discovering the fault. Where no specific timeframe is stated, a "reasonable time" will be applied in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act. This does not limit any longer limitation period available to you under law (generally four years from the date of purchase for breach of contract claims).
